Replacement Mouse Feet - Deathadder 3.5G

Posted on March 31st, 2010 by admin in it support w1
I was wondering what the best replacement mouse feet for the Deathadder are. So far I’ve looked at Hyperglide, Perfectglide (from Puretrak), and the Razer Teftlon feet.

Which one of these are the best OR is there another set I should get?
Thanks in advance!

EDIT: I was also thinking about getting a Puretrak Stealth. How does it compare to something like a Qck (which I have right now)?

Cheap small drives to Raid0

Posted on March 31st, 2010 by admin in it support w1
I was hoping to Raid-0 some drives fairly inexpensively, and I needn’t too much space. Maybe about 100gb or so. Options preferred from Frys: link here

Yes I will be using an external backup.

Maybe those Seagate 400gb or 500gb drives would be good to short stroke and raid0? Something to do video encoding on.

And would getting these even make a difference from this: http://img34.imageshack.us/img34/278…dtunebench.png ?

Possible Upgrades

Posted on March 1st, 2010 by admin in it support w1
hey guys,

I’ve been looking around for stuff to upgrade this summer/spring. As you can see I have a E8400 and I was thinking of upgrading to quad core something like Q9550 EO and trying to overclock it a bit.

But what is the quality of my motherboard? On the gigabyte site it looks pretty good it supports every CPU and DDR2 ram.

What I also can do is overclocking my E8400 (still not done) and buy more RAM and a Radeon 5850 and see how Battlefield Bad Company 2 runs.

so anyone advice? :)

C1 vs E0 x3360 (q9550)

Posted on March 1st, 2010 by admin in it support w1
I am planning on getting the xeon equivalent of the q9550. The only problem is that it has the c1 stepping. I have been searching, and have found no definitive information about one being better than the other. I have found several site where people say the E0 overclocks better, but have no proof of this. Does anybody know how much of an impact this makes? I do plan to overclock, and I am getting this for around so it isn’t like I’m spending a lot for this or anything.

Band vs. Band

Posted on March 1st, 2010 by admin in it support w1
Okay let’s try this out. First person posts:

Band 1 vs. Band 2

Second person chooses one of them (Band 1) and offers a challenger.

Band 1 vs. Band 3

This might fail though.

I’ll start I guess:

AC/DC vs. Metallica

If you don’t know the bands, look up one of their songs! You might just find something you like ;)

Also, give a reason if you want.
