Hey guys!

Just got the 3 DLC’s for Borderlands and I cant play them since im only Level 22 and there too hard!

I have compleated the game and I was a Level 44 but I lost my save game when my HDD died. So I started again and now im back upto level 22 but still need to be higher to make any progress in the DLC’s.

What is the best way to level up as quick as possible as I cant be botherd playing the whole main game through again!

Please help as I really want to play General Knoxx but its impossible at level 22!

In the process of saving some money and working towards my next upgrade. I want this upgrade to consist of a Core i7 CPU, 1366 motherboard and 6Gb of DDR3 RAM. Here’s where I ask for your help. There are so many motherboards for this platform that grab my attention and on some of them I just can’t seem to find he difference in performance. I also have a problem where I tend to go for more expensive items as I feel i will regret it later on in the line. Anyway here are some of the motherboards I was looking at for my upgrade

These are the current motherboards I am looking at. They’re all relatively similar and Asus have given me good quality motherboards in the past so I have no issue going with them again. If you could give me a quick thought on my choices and maybe save which is best for myself that would be awesome. If none of the above tickle your fancy then suggest your own, all I say is try keep in under £200 or close to it.

For the next part of the thread I would like some guidance on RAM. It all seems very expensive compared to what it used to cost and want to make sure I am getting a good set if I am dropping this much cash into it. Here are some of my choices below.

Again, if you could drop me some knowledge on RAM for the upgrade, these were my choices above. If you can recommend something better then please do. To complete the upgrade I am going with the Core i7 920 D0 stepping. This will be cooled by my Prolima Tech Megahalems.

my Gigabyte GA-G41M-ES2L USB ports stopped working completely for no reason!
i have a window case so i can clearly see that there are connected fine… when i plug in any usb device except my iphone it just makes an error noise and dont not show in my computer:mad:

Well i know that windows xp dosnt need as much requirments to play games and is cheaper. so should i go with windows xp or 7? also would it work with ddr3 ram and like Sapphire Radeon 5750 graphics??

Hey everyone, just installed Windows 7 Pro

Under the RC7100, I was able to set the speakers to 5.1 sound and it worked fine. What i’ve done so far is to install the driver from Creative’s website as well as Alchemy. There were no other Win 7 64 bit downloads.

I was able to change the sound to 5.1 using the speaker settings built into windows 7. When testing each speaker, the center and right front channels had a little lag. When I clicked on rear right, I got a BSOD (really??). Any suggestions on how to fix this?

XFX 8800GT Alpha Dog edition, bought this just a bit ago, realized I have zero use for it. I have all AMD/ATI stuff, I boot it up and ran it though about 45 minutes of furmark, and one test of 3d06 and all looks good.

Hey ive got the 8800GTX for a VERY long time now and thinking of upgrading, Is HD5770 worth it? Im kinda broke so i wouldnt spend much higher.

This is what I’m planning on buying. I won’t be overclocking anything most likely. Will the Corsair 400w be enough or should I buy a 450/500/550? Don’t wanna make the purchase if I don’t have enough power to make it run

(keep in mind if you have suggestions for my build, I gotta use newegg.ca due to canadian-ness. also not buying the antec 900 from there because I can get it elsewhere for like , just there to show what I’m using)
