i7 920/Bloodrage multiplier dropping under load.

Hey all.
Just a little issue I’ve been having.

my current setup (sig-rig), when stressing or benching, doesn’t hold it’s speed.

I’m running the latest (p09) bios.
21x multi with speed step turned off.
1.25Vcore

but when I stress it, CPUz and everest both report that my multiplier is dropping to 20x and my vcore is all over the place; from 1.25-1.32.

temps never over 73C

I’ve read that once the 130-watt limit it met, the cpu begins to cycle rapidly between 21x and 20x to sustain no more than 130-watts.

What gives? Anything I can change in the bios to handle this?

I’m running 4.2ghz, 21x multi, HT on, vdroop compensation off.

It’s prime and linx stable so far as testing can tell.

Any info I’m mising?
