Installing 19mm vandal switches

Posted on May 18th, 2009 by admin in Recent Blog Entries, it support w1
Hey all,

I have a quick question. Has anyone had any experience installing 19mm vandal switches into steel cases? I’m asking because all the hardware stores in my area are telling me that it is impossible. Any advice on how to do it would be awesome (and the cheapest solution is obviously the best).

Cheers!

[TECHSPOT] Apple acquiring Electronic Arts?

Posted on May 6th, 2009 by admin in Recent Blog Entries, it support w1
Quote:

Apple is considering an offensive into the gaming market, according to Guy Adami from CNBC’s Fast Money, who claims to have heard “chatter” about the company being interested in acquiring publishing  video games company, Electronic Arts.

Richard Teversham, the senior director for insights and strategy at Microsoft’s Xbox Business, left the company to join Apple this week and prior to that Apple picked up two former CTOs from AMD’s graphics division. One of them, Bob Drebin, is also the man who created the graphics processor in the Nintendo GameCube. Certainly, all this suggest that a major move onto the gaming business through the iPhone and iPod touch is underway, but if rumors are true then Apple’s ambitions would appear to go far beyond just the handheld market.

Cooler Master V8 problem

Posted on May 6th, 2009 by admin in Recent Blog Entries, it support w1
Hi,

I recently changed motherboards and have had nothing but problems with the cooler since.

The screws that come with it are much smaller than the holes on an am2 board. When you put on the anti vibration pads and attach to back plate, there is room for the cooler moving, which it does as it is so big.

Cut a long story short, the screws are touching the inside of the holes and causing the computer to not post.

Anyone have this problem?
